Modify /res/menu/main.xml to add new item of action_share.
<menu
    xmlns:myapp="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
    xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" >

 <item
        android:id="@+id/action_share"
        android:title="Share"
        myapp:actionProviderClass="android.support.v7.widget.ShareActionProvider"
        myapp:showAsAction="always|withText" />
    <item
        android:id="@+id/action_settings"
        myapp:showAsAction="always|withText"
        android:title="@string/action_settings"/>

</menu>
