Refer to my old post of Simple Android Chat Application, server side, and client side. Function to send sending individual message to specify client is added in server side.
uses-permission of "android.permission.INTERNET" is needed in AndroidManifest.xml, for both server and client.

how can get mac address from client?
ip every time change, i want get mac address
To get mac address, refer Retrieve IP and MAC addresses from /proc/net/arp.
For this example, get mac address for what?

why am I not able to bind to the server over my PC?
Nice and helpfull example. I have some questions...may be foolish:
1. If the server is far away from the client whuch means he does not know the servers ip , how can i get the servers ip?
2. A mobile can be a server or it has to be tablet?
3. How can i store messages on server?
